B20 non-v swapped ek with p72 ecu??? Doesn't sound right
I'm lookin to trade my 98 z28 for this b20 non-v with ls trans swap ek. I'm mainly looking for a nice clean swap for better mpg, I drive 100 miles a day and the ls1 is killing me at the pump. This also comes with a/c and p/s. The guy says that it is running off of a p72 ecu though, and from what I have read this can damage the motor. Also, the motor is supposidely from zerolift and came with a 10:1 compression ratio. Everywhere I have read this swap should be running a p75 ecu. Can anyone give me some input on this topic?? What I should and shouldn't look for. I am a mechanic and work for Honda, just never got into the swaps and tuning of them.
Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

You should remove the P72 ECU and trade it for a P75. Treat it as you would a vehicle that came into your dealership complaining about the check engine light always being on.
Ill try to find out if its obd1 or 2. what about the CR 10:1 seems a little high almost seems like itd need premium at that rate. and if its not a stock b20b4 then if i get a p75 will i need it modified/chipped??
ok so the guy said he just roumded up haha but yeah its the b20b4 with 9.6:1 ratio and its the a01 obd1 p72, would a p75 work plug and play with this engine?? its the ls trans too if that makes a difference
