I have 15 inch Honda civic si rims
i believe tire size is 195/55/15

and was wondering what are good brand and any suggestions on what tires to get for them

i dont race , i just use it as my daily driver

depends on what kind of climate you drive in.

do you have snow? then an all season is for you
do you have rain and no snow? then a summer tire with water displacement is for you.

The Nitto NeoGen is my fav tire here in florida. but they run larger in size compared to a falken (which run smaller) or a Kumho (which look to be spot on)

what i mean is tires are like jeans, different manufacturers have their own idea of units of measure.

Good inexpensive tire is the Kumho ECSTA 4X (40K mile warranty), or try the Hankook OPTIMO H426 (60K warranty)....very common size so many options under $ 100 each

 

toyo proxies is the best in my opinion a nice size on si rims would be a 195/50 or 195/45. depends on how much tire you like.
