windsheild wipers dont turn off
I just recently bought a 94 integra rs. This morning omw to work i turn the switch to take some of the fog on and now the windshield wipers wont stop. I tried disconnecting the battery and fuse and letting it sit.for an hour and nothing!
The switch is off and it still goes on.
anyone have a clue?
Also wondering if its the turn signal/windshield wiper switch..and will an eg switch work?

It could be the switch..
or
sounds like your wiper motor is bad
or check windshield wiper relay(if there is one,i dont even know)

So i disconnected the battery and fuse to see if maybe it would get restarted or something. But.when i plugged them both back in, the windshield wiper kept going off.
Its stuff in the low settings. And if i try to turn it to a different setting it doesnt go to it...
"Vitamin C95" -correct.
Any idea?

The motor (has contacts), the Integrated Control Module (ICM) (is involved), and the combination wiper switch are all candidates. The motor has a 'park' signal it sends to the ICM to keep it from stopping in the middle of your window.. perhaps if that switch in the motor is not making contact (or wiring is open) the ICM is just waiting for the wiper to return 'down' - which it never sees. Hopefully, it's not an ICM problem.
You'll want the electrical diagram and a volt/ohm meter to trace the signals and see where it's failing.
Sorry I don't have a feeling for which is more likely.

mark@silbernage is on the correct path, my guess is it is a defective park function, only thing that would keep the wipers on once the switch is off, or possibly the switch itself.
Unplug the wiper switch, if the wipers keep going it is a defective park function, most likely stuck contacts in the wiper motor assembly.94
