Default Gsr/CTR piston warm-cold startup help needed

I have a gsr with the following
Ctr pistons, Gsr rods , crank
skunk2pro2 cam , valves springs retainers
65mm edelbrock tb
type r replica IM
Tuned on s300

Now the problem , the car before the tune used to start up flawlessly hot/ cold ,
I was told a bad TB so I replaced.
I Also went after , Idle air control valve , distributor cap , distributor rotor , TPS sensor , battery , alternator , battery terminals , spark plugs , spark plug wires. I have tired myself out and do not know what to do next. The car was tuned by a reputable tuner , but after the tune the car ran great Full throttle but everything before that is bleh.

Symptoms : when cold , I require tapping and or holding the gas pedal for about 20 seconds or more and will die if gas isnt applied , when warmed up , its an amazing car.

When hot: on startup , The car will fall on its face everytime without gas simply put.

Any ideas would be great , winter is near and its crazy cold starting this car. Thanks.

Were these symptoms not brought up to the tuner? It truthfully just sounds like a bad spot in the tune or a faulty IAT.

I had the same experience with my pro2's, but only hen it was really cold (around freezing temps). I used a block heater in the winter whenever I could to keep the coolant above 100 deg F. My cold enrichment put me at about 12:1 when it finally stabilizes around 30 deg F ambient. At room temps, you can use 13.5:1 to 14:1 for cold enrichment without misfiring.

Well I've drove it through 4 chicago winters on the old tune , and althought it was tough lf it got really cold it was tolerable. But after this tune its just dang tough.

I've been leaning towards getting a cold warm start tune.

sounds like an issue with the tune to me. maybe it was tuned during a warmer time of the year and cooler temps werent taken into account?

i had similar issues on my first motor build. took it back to the tuner, he adjusted temperature corrections or something along those lines, all was well after that.

JarrettL: Mikeyspec tuned the car and noted that it was probably a bad TB, before the tune all was good, and after the tune he had to give it gas to start it aswell. He said Could be the TB so i changed it. NO luck.

Nice to read from you again ALL M0T0R , Yea ill look at them and see what i can dig up, Not very intuitive when it comes to messing My tune, I will do what i can, after all; upload option is sweet.
