I am planning a swap through the winter, and I can't decide which shell I should use? The swap I will be doing is one of the swaps that needs extra hood clearance. I have a 97 integra shell, but there is also another one for sale in my area a 98 with a jdm front end...
which one has more hood clearance... usdm integra or jdm 98+ integra?

Which swap are you doing? I think the J swap is the only one with clearance issues, and like the guy before me said, that cant be done without a hole in the hood, I know my H22a swap didnt have clearance issues and neither does my buddies K24..both in USDM Integras

J32 swap... I was told if I use the hasport dual mounts and use the lower holes with an accord intake manifold... it'd clear with the webbing cut out, but I don;t like the idea of less ground clearance... so I'll probably end up doing some sort of a custom cowl hood. I was hoping the jdm front end had more clearance, but I guess thats out the window.
