Hello,

I need to get the radio code for my Honda Accord EX 2001, I just bought it last week and I can't use the radio because is asking for code, I have the s/n: U1002L2475, I just called to Honda dealer and they said that I need to go there and the code cost will be 50dlls.

can someone help me with this????

FYI....

I called to other Honda dealer and after give the VIN, stereo s/n and other information I got the code and my stereo is working properly now.

 

Im glad you posted about new stereo codes, Im planning to install a new one soon ( I hope ), and Im now aware of this code thing, also I saw someone warn that every time you disconnect the car battery, to save the code, before doing repairs, thats all they said. Theres a caution for everybody. Welcome to the site.

There is a site where you can get the unlock code, but thats only if you are the first owner since it will ask for your address and VIN number and a series of questions. Its free and its maintained by Honda

 

Before to call to Honda Customer Service I tried to get it throught the web page https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ but as you said..... it is for the first owner. I got the Honda customer service phone number in the same web page and called them, now my car is registered with my information and I got the radio code
