So, I replaced my rear pads and opened one of my bleed valves. (I thought I had to do this to compress the piston). So I believe I bled the system correctly but I noticed I did the bleeding while my E-brake was up. What am I missing because the rear brakes are still (pressed) even w/out the E-brake. Oh and I replaced the new pad with the old metalic shields from the old pads; are these essential?
