Icon2 Christmas Present for 2012 Accord Owner

Hi

My boyfriend just got a 2012 Honda Accord last week and I am here looking for ideas from other Accord owners as to what I should get him for Christmas.

I found a website that had Megan racing coilovers. Is this a good brand? Is this good quality and a nice drop?

Please let me know your suggestions. Thanks.

Yes. Megans are ok. But like anything else, it's consider "lower end" or budget coilovers. Some have no issues at all. Some do.

If he is a car guy, I think it may be best to let him choose the coilovers of his choice. Some "better brands" are like Tein or even Honda's own HFP (Honda Factory Performance).

Oh okay thank you for that. Okay, so maybe I should let him pick the coilovers out himself. He is a car guy.

Is there anything else you can think that you would like to get that would make you happy? Is there a website you recommend? I tried eBay but all I could find were stickers and he doesn't like stickers on his car. I would like to use eBay if there is a particular seller that has good products because I use eBay alot and I like their buyer protection policy.

Thanks for all your help. :D

Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think there is any "Car Parts" or "Car Stuff" you can buy for a car guy. Car guys are too picky and particular about things.

You can either buy something he is picking out. Or maybe a gift card.

I would avoid car stuff all together to avoid the potential bad feeling of him not liking it, you spent a lot of money on it, and get your feeling hurt, if he was to return it.

You can try websites such as this. Maybe they have something a bit more general.

www.andysautosports.com

Not sure if he got this already. Portible jump start battery.

http://www.sears.com/search=portable...tart%20battery

Just an idea.

It's the same for us trying to pick out your shoes...I always let the wife pick out what she likes, and she does the same for my car/motorcycle (for the most part ). When she does buy me something for my car, I just smile and secretly wish she would have let me pick it out. Drew is right, go to Sears and shop for tools!

I say factory all season floor mats and trunk mat would be a good gift. Not too much as well..
