Replacing O Ring on pipe coming out of water pump
I just recently found a small leak coming out of the pipe that leads out of the water pump to the thermostat. I did research and it sounds like I blew the O ring that goes there. Here is my question. How do I take the pipe off to replace the O ring? Here is my car info and short situation on what happened:
2008 Honda Civic 1.8L
Car temp started rising and pulled over to notice the company that changed my oil and checked my fluids didn't check my coolant. It was empty. So car overheated. Put water in it and slowly leaked from time to time. Removed belt and alternator to notice coolant leak from the connecting pipe from water pump to thermostat. Curious on how to get the connecting pipe off and replace the O ring. Anything helps! Thank you!
