Description: I bought this car from a buddy of mine a couple weeks ago with the intention of returning it back to stock on the exterior and driving it around as a beater. But, I also have a civic that I'm trying to sell and it hasn't sold yet, so now I have to let this car go because I don't have the space for 3 cars. I'm not a VW guy so I don't know too much about what was done.. but I do know that the engine and transmission is rock solid. i watched my friend dump about 5,000.00 (or more) in all APR and ECS tuning parts into the engine (while he let the exterior kinda fall apart).

Good:
-ECS Stage 1 turbo kit (k04 Turbo) with FMIC
-APR 2.5" Turboback exhaust
-all the hoses under the hood are silicone
-Raderwerks LW10-BK wheels (http://www.raderwerks.com/product/lw-10-bk)
-Timing belt snapped, so my buddy had the whole top end rebuilt with all upgraded parts (im sure he has the paperwork somewhere, but I had to go pick up the parts for him, so it's legit, all parts came from ECS or APR).
-New Shocks
-Blitz turbo timer
-Boost gauge
-Heated leather seats
-Safety inspection good til next year

Bad: Optima Yellow has gone bad and wont hold a charge, or needs a new alternator. (have to jump it every time I want to drive it).
Has an exhaust leak, sounds like its near the front of the car somewhere
Needs a driver side fender (or get it pained, he got one off ebay, and didnt paint it.. so it rusted)
Needs a driver side rear view mirror
Needs one tire (he hit a pothole and popped one of the tires)
Needs a drivers side door card (current one is practically ripped in half)
Needs to be cleaned.. bad.

The price is firm, but not set in stone... I'm a pretty reasonable guy and have sold cars on here before. If anyone wants a good car that needs minimal stuff to keep it running.. then this is for you. Or if you're a VW guy and are good with them, then this is a way to pick up a cheap project that could end up as a VERY fast car. Either way, I'm not a VW guy, and only picked this car up as a favor to my friend.. but like I said, I don't have room for it physically nor financially.. so its gotta go. Please feel free to ask whatever questions come to mind and I'll gladly answer them to the best way I know how. If you need the VIN for a carfax, I can provide that as well.
