hi all,

there's a faint clanking/clucking sound coming from the front of my 2002 accord (60k miles) when i'm driving or coasting. it's not always there, and sometimes it comes at distinct intervals (as if something's hitting a gear?). there's usually no sound when i'm stepping on the brakes.

any thoughts?

Our 2002 LX began making faint, hard-to-describe front-end noises around 75K-replaced both front wheel bearings and it went away...makes sense if noise goes away while braking that the pads are preventing side-to-side motion which would be what would trigger noises in a wobbly bearing, no?
