Icon2 can rather stiff engine and torque mount s cause a crank pulley to come loose

hello. i was reading over trying to fix my vibration of my rather stiff mounts (all 5 btw) on my c1 engine in my hatch however now i am more worried they may cause some sort of other damage like loosening a crank pulley over time like the guy in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/motor-mounts-engine-vibration-solved-2779057/

have any one here ever experienced such a thing or any other type of damage resulting from bad vibrations from aftermarket mounts/inserts to lossen things?? ive had mine for about 4 months and now im paranoid . thanks

Never heard of that before, and never had that kind of problem. I have a step below solid mounts by hasport in the racecar and innovative 70a or what ever the black urethane they use is rated at in the daily driver.

If it came loose then it was never torqued to its spec in the first place.

actually crank pulleys coming loose isn't an uncommon problem with hondas. there was a recall on at least two models that i can name off the top of my head (F22A motors in early 90s Accords and same F22b motors). Honda used an inferior supplier for the front main seals and they allowed the pulleys to wobble loose over time. so it wouldn't surpirse me if its just a wear item, or inferior stock part. have it properly checked and before torquing it back down i would replace that seal, just to be safe. because even if it wasn't faulty to begin with a wobbly crank pulley would make it bad.
