Squeaky suspension
ok so my ej1 has been squeaking for a little while and i plan on changing the whole over the next couple of paychecks. It squeaks under pressure like bumps or holes. My question is what should i check/replace first
My 98 civic has some ebay suspension stuff on it from the PO and it makes noise quite a bit. Even had one of the rear bushings walk out. I use AMSOIL Heavy Duty Metal Protector to quiet things down. It works great. or you could try using grease and locating which joints are squeaking and lube them. hope that helps???

Front squeaks are usually caused by control arm bushings and A arm bushings. Rear squeaks are usually caused by control arm bushings, trailing arm bushings, and sway bar bushings/end links.
look at the strut, is it leaking any fluid?
Struts being bad/blown you can usually tell by ride/leaks. I wouldn't think it'd be struts, mounts perhaps, but not the strut.

some more info: the car handles like a boat. Oversteer i guess youd call it. Also the car is not lowered yet it will rub with three people on 15's. Its the front right that squeaks
