Have you done anywork on the cooling system? I just replaced my timing belt and water pump.and it did that until I bled the cooling system.

The idle air control module could be dirty or it could be low on coolant

Warm the car completely up and then take off the fitv and tighten the plastic down until it bottoms out. It's important to do this when the car is warmed up and not when it's cold. There's a sticky in the faq's for the "fitv" just look.

Yeah sounds like you need a good cleaning on you're FITV (Fast idle thermal valve) and IACV (Idle air control valve) Both will be located on the throttle body and are fairly easy to clean with minimal tools required.

My car had the same problem yesterday literally, I popped my intake off & gave both a good cleaning. Aswell as gave my throttle body a good scrubbin and my idle is now smooth as butter.

Its located right beneath your're throttle body. You must remove you're air intake and theres like 3 bolts remove it, take the FITV apart and spray it with throttle body cleaner/carb && choke cleaner, put it back on and you should be good.
