This is for a 2001 Accord V6. I need to perform the parking brake adjustment, and AC filter replacement. Could someone help me doing this?

What is the steps for the parkingbrake adjustments? where is the nut to adjust it from?

Also, where is the AC filter located?

adj nut is on rear of handle,go thru back of console. AC filters are in back of glove box, must be removed to access filters.

 

If you pick up a Haynes manual for your Accord, you will have step by step instructions on how to get to the airconditioning filter, and possibly the parking brake adjustment, I have my mechanic do that for me since he is rotating my tires and checking my brakes anyway.

From what I remember about changing the air conditioning (cabin) filter, it was a lot more work that it should have been, including disconnecting your battery since you are messing with the connections to the passenger side airbag, complete removal of the glove box, etc. And on top of that, the filter wasn't that dirty. My car (a '99 Accord 4cyl LX, 5-spd) has ~ 46,000 miles on it, I won't be changing that filter at 60,000 miles. Maybe at 75,000 or 90,000 miles.
