It's "bigger" and the windshield is more angled, just to point out a few. They do a good (the best) job in evolution of the design. The car is all-new. But for the casual owner, getting the "old" one is just as cool. 9.5 out of 10 in the public will not noticed.

 

That's why you can drive GT2RS to work and ppl are stupidest enough too think it's a 911 base lol. Perfect for the business owner who has dumb employees thinking he's driving a 80k 911 instead of a 260k+ car. Can't pull off not giving your employees a raise when you are driving a Ferrari, Bentley, Lambo, etc but no one has the slightest clue what the difference between base carrera and a GT3/GT2/Turbo/Turbo S is always cracks me up. Nice 918 just hanging out there now that's the car to get!! 70mpg...

 

so it looks just like every other porsche created going back to like 1970's....i'm sorry i know they make really good stuff but they REALLY need to design something that doesn't look like 400 different sub models of the same car

 

Really love how the new 911's dont have a bolt pattern, guess its hard to swap out wheels oem's.....

haha even Porsche knows they look the same. the only thing they covered/tried to conceal was the emblem on the steering wheel and the back bumper. they are the smartest company on earth they have been selling the same car for years. and they don't have to spend any money on R&D

Yea, no R&D is required to maintain status as one of the Best and longest standing supercar manufacturers...

 

Like removing all the emblems is going to keep people from figuring out what it is. If you know what a Porsche is you don't need the emblems. If you don't know what a Porsche is, you don't need the emblems.

 

AMEN BROTHER, I LOVE HOT SPORTS CARS..AND A PORSCHE IS VERY NICE , NO MATTER WHAT KINDA 911 YOU GET..BUT THEY ARE SO COMMON..I SEE 2 ON MY WAY TO WORK EVERY DAY...NEXT RAOD TRIP YOU TAKE COUNT THE AMOUNT OF PORSCHES YOU SEE ANS THEN ADD UP EVERY OTHER HIGH END YOU SEE..(LAMBO,FERRARI, BENTLEY,......) MY POINT BEING THAT PORSCHES JUST DONT EXCITE ME ANY MORE..I THINK THE DESIGNERS ONLY USE TRACING PAPER TO WRITE ON... AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT WORT LOOKING PANAMERA..
