Default Wiring question ( ignition related )

So the previous owner set up a kill switch that when turned off, you could turn the key and the car would crank over, but not fire up. It disables the gauge cluster and radio too when turned off. When turned on, it fires up. You don't need to depress the clutch to turn the car on either.

So I went to replace it since it was 18ga wiring he was using and it was getting really warm ( currently have the 14ga it was connected to bridged to have the car driving ) - the two wires I bridged are a solid red and a solid white. They connect back into a giant black electrical taped harness ( assuming this is the main one )

So, my question is, A- what circuit is the one thats being interrupted, and B- is that red/white wires OEM? If not, someone did a good job retaping the harness at a glance.

Thanks in advance

Since you know where the k/s is, solder and cover the wire back up. Whoever did that GHETTO RIGGED a simple switch install.

Don't remind me. The wires were connected by being twisted together and then electrical taped. Going to go through the actual after market alarm and other items too to at least make sure wiring has been done correctly.

I used one of these to close the bridge for now.
