Developing transmission whine in 1st 2nd gear
I changed my axles lately, The transmission had about one cup too much fluid
I refilled it with redline manual transmission fluid
I'm thinking it's the redline fluid
Just looking for suggestions as to what it might be.
I was getting some clutch chatter that has gone away

It did, it started about 100 miles after I swapped the driver side axle ( I did the passenger side a week later) which I refilled the tranny fluid with redline, which the honda parts guy told me is full synthetic. It doesn't say that on the bottle, I know you're not suppose to put synthetic in there.
I flushed it out and put in 10w30. The whine went away a lot.
I got home flushed the 10w30 out and filled it with honda mtf. I have not driven it yet but I was pleased with how much the noise went away just from the 1st flush.
I'll update you guys soon.

the honda stuff works great in our cars but is expensive at 10 bucks a qt. Luckily we don't need much. I've used 10w30 mobil 1 for the last 25k on my car. Shifts are a tad smoother and quiet as the honda oil.
