Right now I have a B20 with an LS head in my Ek hatch, car came with it. Trying to swap in my fully built B16a2 head with b18b block into it. I have hasport mounts for the EK but the thing is the old motor mounts that are in the car, are welded in and the hasport motor mounts won't fit into the brackets. If I cut the brackets out, will the hasport motor mounts bolt up to the frame, or will I need to fabricate new brackets for the rear and tranny mount (Hasport sent the right side motor mount bracket).

 

there are no welded in mounts on a 96-00 civic. post a pic?

 

The motor mounts aren't welded in. The guy I bought the car from welded in the brackets, I thought they are normally bolted in. I have no idea why he welded them in. I'll post pics soon.
