Icon2 92 Civic w/ carb engine hesitates/misfires?

I bought this civic eg about 2 months ago for 750 euro's. So i allready knew it would'nt be perfect. It has about 169xxx miles on it. And body is not that perfect. Though the engine was working well, and i had no problems untill about a month ago.

So here's the problem:
The engine starts to refrain as if it has no more fuel sometimes. when i push the gas, and get at about 3krpm it gives this... Bump. Also when i get my foot of the gas, it does this multiple time's in a row. Actually feels as if it's out of fuel.

Also it seems as if it's losing it's power.
Slower pull up's and stuff like that.

So, any idea's what the problem could be?

Allready checked the throttle body, seems fine. No dirt or anything.
Also i know that the "Lambda-Sensor" is broken. (dont know if you guys know this. but it's called like this in the Netherlands)
And i think that maybe the exaust manifold gasket might be leaking. Not sure though.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Yeah I figured that out, so i took the cable out of it's connector. Still not working right though.

I have no idea when the last tune up was. So i think i'm gonna do that as well soon.

Could this have something to do with the loss of power as well?

well im assuming you need fuel to create power soooo probably.
on a serious note does the car sputter as if its stalling or does the motor "Knock"

Well.. it's like its stalling i think. when i get my foot off the gas it's like... umm... Lol here it comes: hnnnnnn..-.-.-..hnn.-.-.hn.. Know what i mean? Same with pulling up. Hnnnn.-.hnnnnnnnnngg xD Don't know how to explain haha. It does'nt "knock" if i understand what u mean. when i take my foot off it's like the engine just stops shortly and then continues again. and this a few time's pretty quick in a row.

Ok so it's not an FI engine wich tells me that it has no fuel pump. So this is not the problem. Thinking the carb might be a little clogged up or something. Anyway, once i have the money im gonna swap it for a B16 or B18 anyway's. Just put a fuel pump under the hood and this should work.

First off, please don't bump a year old, dead thread.

Second off, for the benefit of someone searching in the future, OP's carb probably just needed to be serviced.

A number of European and African countries got carbed Civics much later than the US did.

All USA market Civic's have used fuel injection since 1988.

However; JDM, Asia-Paific (Including Australia) and Europe with some models of exception, were delivered with the classic single, twin carburetor dual-point injection. I know first hand that Australia's last carbed civ was the 5G early EG's

Hahah, I wouldn't worry too much about foreign Civics. It gets way to confusing.

That's the advantage of reading threads, even when they don't necessarily concern you, and even if you don't know a thing about them. I'm always browsing threads just to see if certain people (people I know do their homework first) have a response. Even if I don't need to know it now, I can store it in the back of my head and use it later, or pass it along to someone who might need it later.

I also don't make a habit of posting in threads to add nothing.
