Default 4wd Transmission swap.

I have a 98 CRV with a 220,000 miles on the trans. the B20b only has around 78,000. Im looking for another 4wd Trans but i see there is issues using the JDM Trans for the Trans code popping. Is there any way around it or any good usdm transmission source. I'll even but remanufacture. Also for the 98 4WD, is it a M4TA, MDLA or MDVA?

nope! finding a manual tranny is the first hard part... then you need the whole donor car to get
some interior parts for it to work.... standard transmission Vs were less than 5% of the population...

i wondered around getting a jdm tranny when one of my Vs got this issue but i ended up bringing
it to a rebuild shop for a fraction more of a used jdm tranny, atleast i have warranty for them in case
i get the same issues again..... btw, OP did you try to drain-fill the tranny first w/ oem honda fluids(dwz1)??

The Transmission has OEM Honda fluids. Im just worried about the mileage on the tranny. Right now it works fine and i have noticed any slippage yet but just want to be ready for it.
