Just picked this hatch up bout a week ago. I have a truck I am trading a body guy to clean up the body and take care of some minor rust spots. I need to pick a paint color. any suggestions.

Feel free to post up some pics. i am actually thinking about going with a flat army green or pearl white. WRX blue is also up there. I suck at making choices.

Next I will tackle rims, tires and suspension.

Here is what the hatch looks like now. Besides peeling a lot of ugly stickers off I haven't done anything to it yet. I love these cars though and in my eyes they are classics so I wanna do it up right.

I like the silver but I would want more metallic if I went silver again.

Yea the matte matallic .

 

Unless your body shop guy intends to cut the car and engine bay and respray the ENTIRE chassis, just stick with the stock color. You'll hate yourself every time you look at the unpainted door jam.

 

Yeah the stock silver and fresh clear coat would be clean.
