ok so tonight coming home i threw a rod through the block engines f*****.
d16y7 in my cx hatch go figure thats all i hear about is rods going on those engines first. but anyways to my question whats my best bet i have not a ton of money but close to 2k i was thinking about a h22a swap? but i just dont know. possibly a new POS car that will give me time to fix mine. ive been weighing options and just wanted to get some opinions. btw i love my car and dont know if i can let her go.

Swap in a Y8. Cheap, no new mounts or hassle. Better intake mani, vtec, basically a direct replacement. You'll just have to get a different intake, wire vtec and get a Y8 ecu.

i agree, swap a y8... 2k isnt in your price range for a H swap after everything is said and done(completely)

 

or you can go with an LS swap, they are cheap. just gotta get mounts and etc
