Y8 block vs Z6?

Default Y8 block vs Z6?

I wanna build for boost, I was going to go y8 block with z6 head.
Witch is a good to go with a z6 head? Imma prob run about 14psi.
Let me know what you do. Thx

i would go with a z6 block with y8 head the y8 has a better head n camshaft

There has been a lot of these threads within just this month..... They all the same. Everyone will say, go with Y8 using Z6 crank since it's two oiling per journal.

I mean I like the flow of the z6 head and ryan is right y8 got the two oiling per journal.

No. Z6 got two oiling. Y8 only has one. So, if you can swap that from Z6 to Y8, you will have better D16 engine.

Um no the z6 complete would be the better choice over y8 complete.

No. Z6 crank in Y8 and port the oil pump. Also use Y8 trans.
