Default Help choosing slicks!

I'm getting into a delimna about what size slicks would benefit me best. I've only been down the track 2 times so I'm a rookie at this! I can't post a pic but here is a copy of my best time.

R/T - .559
60Ft - 2.338
330 - 6.050
1/8 - 9.038
MPH - 82.75
1,000 - 11.595
1/4 - 13.753
MPH - 105.39

My setup:

84.5x87 gsr
13.6:1 compression
Ported b16 head
Skunk 2 Pro 2's
Obx 48mm itbs (port matched)
Plm Toda rep header
2.5" exhaust

B16 ctr trans all stock
Act 8lb flywheel
Act 6 puck sprung clutch
Driveshaft shop axles
Avid solid motor mounts

Street tuned to 8,500 on Crome. Pass was made with 195/50/16 kumho asx all seasons launching at 4,500rpm at 32psi.

I currently just replaced the obx itbs with 52mm TWM's and upgraded my tuning to aem ems. I am planning on putting a close 3rd and 4th Mfactory gearset in this winter also. I should see the rollers in 2 weeks so I will more than likely be revving to 9k-9,500 this time.

Thanks in advance!!! Btw my goal is to hopefully break Into the 11's or possibly quicker. The car is a 98 hatchback with only dash, door panels, And driver seat. Will be getting a 6pt cage also. Hoping to be around 2,000-2,200lbs with me in it.

Even by upgrading to the 52mm, you're going to have a tough time breaking into the 11's with that current setup, even on slicks.

I'm sure most will recommend a 22" slick for that setup.

Thanks! I was stuck between 22" or 23". I know 11's will be hard especially stock trans with a 4.4fd. That's why I'm doing mfactory gears

My 2.0L NA customers have had good luck with the 3.07 1st, 4.923 FD and jumping up to 24.5's, coming from stock trans. The gearset will help you get down the backhalf but does nothing for the short track.

I know the 3.07 would help and keep the rpm's higher going into 2nd. How big of a difference would it make on the 60ft? I never looked into a 1st gear only the 1.695 3rd and 1.296 4th.

With the mfactory calculator that would put my 4th gear at 114mph with 23" slicks and 4.4fd. I have no clue what this has as a potential trap speed. So I can't really decide if I need a shorter 4th or if that one would be perfect...
