i'm lookin' to purchase a used aem cai w/ (so he claims) 1000 miles for around 75 bucks, provided nothing is wrong w/ the cai, would this be ok for my lude? any opinions?

 

my friend bought a used aem cai for his teg and it works just as well as a new one... i dont see a reason as to why u shouldnt get it if it looks to be ok.... check it carefully tho..

 

You may want to invest in the K&N filter cleaning kit to renew the filter before you put it on. Also, there are a lot of little bits and pieces that need to be included for the install. e.g. I bought a used AEM as well several years ago and the crankcase breather tube hose was not included. I just used a $1.50 piece of oil cooler hose to replace it.

Get a K&N filter and the cleaner....It'll work just fine

 

$75 is a deal even on a used aem cai. as long as you have the major parts such as the piping and filter you're set. couplers would be nice too.

all other parts can easily be had at home depot for less then $5 if you're missing anything.
