Default need help with idle

Ok guys I have a few issues, maybe one of you brilliant individuals can help me out.

At the moment my car is idling at 2K RPM's, I can literally let the clutch out and it will not die. I still need to press the clutch in to change gears and it grips in every gear with out slipping.

Please help

when u first start it up it should start at around 2k then as it warms up idling, slowly works its way down to around 1k. and what do u mean u can let the clutch out and it wont die? that whats supposed to happen when u let it out in neutral. sporadic idle/high idle can be from various things including your vacuum lines on your intake manifold to your throttle cable just being too tight.

Ok let me clear this up, Even after driving 25+ miles when I come to a stop my car idles at 2k this just started happening yesterday. At no point does the idle drop, It use to have about 1200 RPM at startup and 750 once warm. Also a little clarification with clutch issue. I can have the car in 1st gear NOT moving at all let out the clutch with out giving it gas and the car does not die. I have never seen a car do this in my life, normally you give gas as you let out the clutch to get the car going. Hopefully this clears things up for everyone.
