Default ek hatch rear trunk - question about removing something to install sub

i wanted to buy a sub that is 34 inches wide but it wont fit because of these things I'm not sure if i need them or not or what they do.. can i remove them or no?

Do you even know what they are for? Do they look structural to you? I mean, they do bolt on/off. Answer those questions and you'll be set.

You can remove them, just dont loose them and the bolts for future use.

those are a major structural item. they connect the strut tower directly to the frame. if you saw my car, they are the only thing holding the wheel house onto the bottom of the car. completly rotted at the weld.

just look like strut tower braces like a strut bar but to your frame, you'll prob be fine without them.

Keep them. They support your rear strut towers from caving in.

Get a strut bar, then you can remove these and still be safe!
