1995 integra ls trans problems?helpp
i have a stock 1995 acura integra ls 5 speed and the trans will go into gear sometimes but other times it will lock me out of all gears . i checked the slave cylinder and thats fine and the master cylinder and secondary cylinder are full of fluid . any ideas of what be the problem ?
What redrocket_ej1 said, bleed the clutch hydro system.
I would go one step farther and replace the fluid completely, just like brake fluid, it gets old and needs to be replaced, use DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid.
Also, get under the car, [hoist or jack AND jack stands] and inspect the shift linkage, pay close attention to the Change Extension rod, #14...
http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal and it's connection to the transmission, #s 15, 16, 17 and 30.
The Change Extension rod compensates for engine torque, if it is loose, worn out, bent shifting can be a problem when accelerating and/or decelerating.
If you have excessive engine torque, check your engine mounts...
