hello debating on either going b18c or f20b cheaper route is f20b but i want a better handling car something to setup for road racing plz help list pros and cons play fair
IMO I'd go for the h over the f, sure f has 15 more hp but the h has torque.. Weight difference betweent h and f are pretty near the same, pro with the b series is that it's about 80 lbs lighter than the h or f, not a huge deal if it's a dd but will notice the difference in auto cross

yes h2b is good but when u look at the cost of a h2b kit and the prices of b series transmission its not worth it h22 from the depot is roughly 800 h2b kit i beleive is 1300 and ppl want like 350-400 for a ls trans so 500 dollars more and i have a full f20b swap.

I have to disagree... I have had both setups and the full h swap when compared to h2b swap is not much of a comparison.
If you are daily driving the car, the full h swap rides way too low to the ground. It can lead to axle issues since the axles are custom. If you break an axle it makes fixing it much more difficult. Mine had vibration from the axle and the lugs on the front kept coming loose so the wheel actually fell off one time. And those H trans are weeker anyway.
As far as speed, the h2b is only a little faster like he said- not $1500 worth of speed faster; but overall- the platform compared to full h and in terms of durability and drivability h2b is worth 1500 more than the full h swap.

i agree with rrace002 its not 1500 worth faster, h series trans arent the greatest but there is an abundance of f series trans from accords and axle problems are an issue but hasport has a solution with their axles. h2b is great but b series trans everyone wants to rape u with one. i would love to go h2d which i think is better than h2b d series trans u can buy for 100 and they are indestructable this car will be daily driven which is the only reason that i am always leaning back to b series
If you think the D-series transmission is 'indestructable' and better (by that I mean you thinking H2D>H2B) simply because of their available cost, I sir hope you do a little more homework before reporting back to School (School = HT).

actually its been proven if u put a lsd in a d series trans and its an si trans then they perform very well and are pretty much indestructable homework done
The full H trans are always easier to break when they ride an inch off the ground on a swapped car.
At least the d trans is 4 inches off the ground on the d series setup.
