wanting to see if theres a fifth gear with a higher ratio to swap into my wagon.

These are the Final Drives:
HF: 2.954
DX: 3.888
Si: 4.250

Heres the 5th gear ratio:
HF: .694
DX: .771

thanks, I guess I will have to forget that idea. the wagon has a final reduction of 4.428, and fifth is 0.783. would I be correct in figuring thats a higher fifth than the 0.771 of the si and dx? probably not worth the time and effort. was hoping to get a mile or two better fuel mileage on long trips.
for those wanting a slight more final reduction without going to the si trans, the 2wd wagon has a 4.058 final drive for anyone interested. or the 4wd trans has a 4.428 final drive.

well from looking at his mph chart, I was thinking backwards. I need either a 92 dx or 88-91 hf fifth and it will work.

so anyone have an hf trans they wanna give away?

I know Mista Bone has done work like this with 4g trannies as well. He's on this board so you should be able to IM him.
