So i'm almost done with my full rebuilt top end build. My question which is going to sound pretty retarded, but here goes... Where does the 2 throttle brackets bolt into? I looked for holes on the firewall and saw nothing... Can someone please snap a picture for me, would be greatly appreciated.

 

 

this routing look about right, and i'm taking it bolts onto the backside of the valve cover then... the two mounting brackets.

 

Yes, the 2 bolts on the back of the valve cover.

 

thanks i got the civic running today, but check engine light is flashing and didn't have my obd2 reader with me at the time.

also hearing a knocking sound, possible rod knock. Pho-king buying used cars from liars kills me. What happened to honest folks. Well now i may have to find a japan imported in So.Cal that has used engines for sale.

so you purchased a vehicle and didn't know it had a rod knock..you rock!

 

when i bought the car the engine would turn over but not idle. so i had no idea, but oh well lesson learned at least i do all my own work.
