no break lights
Long story short. I throw a code 73( miss fire #3) when i apply the footbreak, (lights work) car runs just fine and would go off when you turn on/off the car. The code mysteriously fixed itself but took out my break lights.
Fuses are good, and bulbs are good .
any ideas?

Ya visual inspection.
also since i would know the code would get thrown ive been using downshift with a little e-break to stop, is there and way (i know it sounds dumb) that using the ebreak could have iver road the rear break lights to not work

Visual inspection to bulbs will always lie. Those bulbs are made tough. So when they go out, it's just a tiny little gap that you can't even see. You have to test with meter or hook it up directly to battery with wires. Maybe there was a voltage surge that took out both bulbs since they are connected.
