97 accord with c27a4??
Hey everyone my names nick.
I was looking on a couple jdm engine websites but i cant find the c27a4. I would rather do a full engine swap with a lower mileage than to just change the headgaskets on it. Does anyone know of a trusty online website that carries the c27a4 engine?? Any ifo will be greatly appretiated. Thankyou

Locally Japan Engines offers a C27 w/~45Kmiles for $1225.

Not sure what the head gasket replacement quote was, nor if the cost in labor to install this engine would be any cheaper.

just stumbled onto you post.I have a 96 accord with c27.finding ANY information is hard! Accords only used the c27 for a few years so not a big fallowing. The integra used it with more of a fallowing so they are a good source of info. The c27 has a good compression ratio, and a dependable motor with 170 stock bhp. After some calculations I found the accord apparently borrowed a few 4 banger parts. The cold air intake on the box is a little to small and the stock muffler with 2 1 inch outlets is pathetic for a motor that should run 2'-2.25' exhaust for best velocity. You will find info on engine swaps and mods that have nothing to do with the c27 but they will insist it is the same for all 5th gens.the c27 5th gen is a different frame, front end,and size.
