I've got a 96spec-r JDM b18c and looking for a clutch/flywheel upgrade.

I'm thinking of putting a Competition Clutch Performance Stage 5 Clutch Kit & still not sure what flywheel to put in... was thinking of going for fidanza...

any help or suggestions regarding the above please? thanks

 

Lightwieght flywheels are nice, Fidanza makes great ones. They make your engine rev faster, but also slow it down faster because a stock/heavier one keeps up some momentum.

 

I would recommend a matching clutch and flywheel kit, sometimes mix-matching ends up having issues. I use Clutchmasters in my Honda Challenge car and they have great matching clutch and flywheel setups! Just be sure the "step" on the flywheel has the proper clearance for the clutch and pressure plate so you don't have any dragging clutch issue in neutral.

 

do you make enough power to warrant such a clutch?
