Run down of the car
no ecu codes
cleaned iacv
91 hatch dpfi to mpfi obd0
chipped pm6
emusa turbo kit
vitara istons
eagle rods
new motor build
new tps adjusted to .431 closed and 4.45 wot
new distributor
dsm 450 blue tops
stock fuel pump and fpr
fuel gauge on the filter is 39ish lbs
compression is 6:1
compression in the cylinders is 120 across the board
Here are 2 vids showing what it does.
Its running about the same as it did before the rebuild. Im lost for ideas
After these videos I was messing with the tb and the dashpot.
I figured out the tb wasnt closing all the way. The dashpot was the problem so i took that out and now it shuts all the way. I readjusted the tps to the numbers above. Now the car barley starts at all runs at about 500-300 rpms then dies out have to crank it for it to start then it just dies again.
With out charge pipe before removing the dashpot and redoing the tps

Tested the MAP also
The 2 outter wires of the map sensor are at 4.88 volts and 4.97 volts. Using the middle for the ground
Then at c11 and c14 i have 2.8 volts
Normally on a very cold start the car will run.
Not today

Get NGK plugs.
The MAP sensor voltages are fine. Don't you need a special MAP sensor when the engine is boosted?
Does code 5 still pop up after an extended drive?

I have these cheap plugs cause i fouled out a few sets trying to get it running the first time
i havent been able to get it to run now long enough to make it outta the shop lol
So idk about the map code.
Any idea on what gap i should be running?
here are pics of timing
everyone keeps telling me to set the timing one tooth off. when i did this the car would never start.
Should i move the exhaust cam gear one tooth counter clockwise? before i had it 1 tooth clockwise past the intake gear

are your valves closing all the way? at this point you need to do a leak down test to see if your engine is sealing up properly, it sounds like it's missing. as dumb as it sounds is your firing order correct? lastly are you on a base map set up for the 450's? with how they're all fouled out it seems like you're dumping WAY too much fuel into the cylinders.

well after a few days still no luck
new distributor came in tossed it on and no change at all.
I have questioned my wiring and swapped it all around with nothing more then the car to throw codes. Put it back the way it was codes go away. So the wiring is correct.
I have no clue and so lost in this thing.
I have checked for vac leaks found nothing. I just dont know anymore.
Also is this normal?
Took plugs out and some vapor came from the spark plug holes

I'm currently working on chipping my PM6 with datalogging capabilities without using an OBD1 conversion harness or using an OBD1 ECU. I will let you know how it goes.
