Default EF's with B16's and Ground Control Coilovers...

With this setup do you problem of bottoming out? Also, what spring rate do you have? I have GC's for the Civic. I believe that the front are 600 but I have idea what the back are? Any ideas. I am also thinking that my struts are bad but I want to know if I should change the GC's out also or just get new springs for them. HELP please.

i don't bottom out but my headers get dented once in a while. I have dc 4:1's. GC's are fine not the best though.

well 600lb spring rates are ridiculous for a street car...

I would get your car looked at to see if you need new struts.

I've got 350 front/250 rear which is the standard EF kit.

It rides well, but a little bouncy cause my front shocks are FUBAR.

I've got the car with about .5" wheel gap in the front, and 1.5" in the back because of bad alignment.

You will need stiffer shocks to keep from bottoming out.

Unless you have an 80lbs. spring weight. Max. spring rate I would rec'd for street are 400-500lbs. <- pushing it with the 5OO.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to get new struts. It's what I suspected but I just wanted to verify. How much would I expect to pay for Koni Yellows? I am kind of tight on funds so but I want struts that I don't have to worry about.

If I am not mistake, those are 250 front and 180 rear. I am almost pos on that. Those fronts are too soft for a B16a.

You mean, the lowest they'll handle?

They can take whatever AS LONG as they do not bottom out, covered under warranty too.

I have a pretty similiar setup..91 HB, GSR motor, and Skunk2 coilovers. The spring rates are 400f/300r. It's a little bouncy but not unbearable. The car seldom bottoms out but the suspension will over BIG bumps or dips, buuut the tops of my tires are tucked at all 4 corners.

I am almost positive that they are 250 front and 180 rear....but why dont you call Eibach/Ground control and stop wasting time.
