iv done some testing as follows.

but when i test voltage between c7 and c12 i get 27.XX mv so i ran a new red/blue wire and still same thing.

did you adjust your tps correctly to read the correct voltage at closed throttle and wide open throttle?

make sure you installed your tps correctly. the spring should have a preload on it with the TB closed. so make sure that the tab of the TPS is inserted into the seating of the housing.

Ya mean just make sure the notch is line up with the notch on the tps right? or are you saying something different

In the first post, you must provide all pertinent information about your car and engine.

So make sure your tps lever is installed in here. It should be off centered from the holes at first. you would then have to turn the TPS a bit for the screw holes to line up. then plug it in and stick your multimeter in there and adjust it by turning it till you get to around .5-.56 and tighten.

Heres the link I got that from.

Ya its in there i did it a few times to make sure lol.

But i need to correct something from first post. its not 27 volts in my signal wire its 27 mv, this will change the mv when the tps is moved or throttle is opens.
I dont get a full volt in this.

Info about car added also

Check the voltage between the Grn/Wht wire and Red/Blu wire by back probing the TPS connector. What voltage do you read there?

You did the test with the TPS and ECU connectors plugged in, right?

If so, either your new TPS or the TPS plug is bad.

Ya was all plugged in.
I tested the old tps with same results also.
Also no code for the tps.
reason i replaced the old tps cause it was broken.

Here is the vid
first reading is the yellow wire, dmm clearly shows 4.96 volts
2nd reading is the red/blue wire, the i wot it. i try to turn the tps but ran outta time in the camera lol

You are measuring voltage at twisted wires near the TPS plug. Measure the voltages by back probing the TPS connector.

Its the same, All the bare wires are from running new wires ill get that replaced in a bit.

But I brought in my 93 ex. tested it by back probing and still get the millivolt readings. So i assume it must be the dmm not being able to set to 20v.

the 93 tested at 33.XX mv and .333 volts. So i just set the 91 to that lol.

Time for a new dmm i suppose

Doesn't make sense. The meter reads the input 5V just fine. So at WOT you should read the voltage (~4.5V) correctly.

Your multimeter dial should be turned to the same position as in post #11. The video shows the dial in a different position. Post a clear picture of your multimeter.

Haha...26,000

This^ is why you're readings are strange. You have the meter set to test a 12V battery. Dial the meter to the red DCV position, just like the picture in post #11. Then, redo your voltage tests.

Lol congrats
Haha...Thanks

At closed throttle, you need turn the TPS until the voltage reads approximately 0.5V. If you can't do this, make sure the throttle is fully closed.
