I have a 94 LS and i'm gonna purchase a greddy EVO exhuast, but the guy who has it says he thinks its for a GSR, but not sure. Will it fit my car if it is in fact for a GSR? is there anyway to distinguish whether its for an LS or a GSR??? help me out guys... i'm supposed to go today to check this thing out. Thanks

 

no the GSR will not fit on the LS, GS or rs

 

hmm that is very discouraging.... does anybody know how i can tel whether its for an LS or a GSR upon inspection???? (without tryin to bolt the danm thing up!)

 

it will fit if its made for a 2000-2001 GSR. any year below that it wont without modifying the b-pipe

 

ic ic, thanks for the input guys, i think it is for a 99-01 GSR i think so.. we'll see what happens... worst case scenario... i'll sell it to my roomate who has a 01 GSR hahaha

But does any body kno how to tell the difference?

the b-pipe is longer or shorter, cant remember which

 

gsr b pipe is about 4 inches longer due to the smaller cat

 

an exhaust for a 94-99 LS will fit on a 00-01 GSR, but an exhaust made for a 94-99 GSR will NOT fit on a 94-99 LS or a 00-01 GSR. in 00-01 they changed the cat size (to the same as was used on 94-99 LS's and type-R's).. so if you have a 00-01gsr and want to buy an exhaust you have to buy it for a 94-99 LS. and if you have a 94 LS, and the exhaust does not fit your car (if you buy it), it also will NOT fit a 01 GSR (your friends). an exhaust for your car and your friends 01gsr will be the same exact thing, so if it doenst fit one it wont fit the other. if its for a 94-99 GSR dont buy it.

 

well thanks for ur input everyone, but after an hour and a half drive to get there, it was not teh EVO as advertised but a greddy/trust PE(power extreme). Unfortunately, i wanted the EVO and with my car as low as it is, i wasn't about to spend the money to scrape up a perfectly new exhuast. If anybody wants a 94-99 GSR PE then contact hybrid_eg i guess.
