Alright here is the deal. Currently, I have a Thunderbird, but am looking to get rid of that in the months to come. I'm really looking to get something that I could hop up easily but would also be quite reliable as well. I am only, however, looking for cars under $8,000.

Here are a few of the cars that have spiked my interest...(Yes, I know some of them might be cliche, but at only 18 years old, and beggers can't be choosy.)

Honda CRX w/ b16a already swapped (1989 - 91)

Honda Civic Hatch w/ b18c already swapped (1992 - 95)

Nissan 240SX (1994 - 98)

Mitsubitshi Eclipse (1990 - 94)....the 2nd gens are way to pricy for me.

With the Nissan I'd probably get the SR down the road, a couple years down the road rather...or maybe just make it a KA-T

I'd really like some suggestions on this and if you can think of any other cars that you think I should get instead shout them out.

**Note that I am also taking insurance costs in to consideration as well**

 

What does this have to do with an s2000 or nsx? They're not even one of your choices! There is an off topic forum too.
