Default With these numbers, what times should I be getting?

This is in a 2nd gen Integra GS w/ PS, AC. The car weighs in at 2560lbs according to Honda w/o PS, AC, and ABS. So I'm guessing it weighs about ~2700 w/ everything. I'm running generic brand tires w/ about 50% tread at 20psi. I have to double clutch into third, or it just grinds for about 10 secs.....

Each of these are my best times, from different races at Infineon Raceway:

R/T - .508
60ft - 2.313
1/4 mile - 15.80
MPH - 88.53

Here's my dyno:

Thanks for your help.

Your MPH shows low 15 potential. My brother's old CRX timeslip was 15.2 @ 89 or something like that...

Default *update*

I went to Palmdale last night and my best times are as follows:

.520 R/T
2.430 60ft
15.994 1/4 ET
87.4mph

This time I finally figured out how to shift into 3rd without grinding. Before I used to get 16.2 with double clutching, but with new know-how, this is my best time. I consistantly got 16.04-.06. Hopefully with my new AN-R header and removal of PS and A/C, I could get mid 15s at Palmdale.

151whp and only 15.9? Something is wrong!

btw what motor is that? Power curve looks like a B18A, but between 5&6 it looks like something is going on.

I agree. What kind of tires did or do you have when you got that 2.2 60ft? I have "General" brand tires.....that's the company name. That, I'm sure, is hurting my 60ft.

How much power is your car making?

trap is good enuff for low 15's liek a 15.1 or 15.2

try to cut it down to a 2.2 60' and it should work well. and shift a lil faster too ...

I have VTEC and voila! It's so subtle that you can't even see. The vtec engages at 4400.

Well, yeah. I have that problem too. My tranny grinds really bad in 3rd, so I have wait for the RPM to drop a little before I shift into 3rd.

Palmdale's elevation is not the greatest.

15.99 * .9679 = 15.47
87.4mph * 1.0337 = 90.35mph

Those would be his times at sea level.

Get those 60 footers down and toss the grinding LS tranny for a closer geared si tranny. I'm sure low 15s are within reach.

He has VT3C.
