When car is started wipers operate even though switch is in off position. Wiper switch controls wiper speeds but does not turn the wipers off. Replaced the switch and the problem continues. Pulled fuse and wipers stop, replaced fuse and wipers operate. Checked harness connections and could not identify a problem. Seeking information on how to identify the problem and make repair.
Wish to avoid replacing expensive module on steering column which contains light switch and turn signal switch. Replacing this module involves removal of steering wheel which I have not done before. However, if someone can verify that replacing this module is what is needed, I will undertake to do so.
