Default MAINT REQ Light on

Like title.. Maint Light is on..and i'm not sure why, anyone here might have an idea of what it is? Cuz i know theres a CEL light and MAINT. before it came on..it would blink about 5 times after I start up the car but now its just on. Oh my car is a EP3

it means "change your oil". You have to reset it each time you change the oil.

if the maintenance light is on in the ep3, that means the engine will blow in the next 50 miles.






























really though? it is an automatic light that comes on when you hit a certain amount of miles to remind you to maintain your car

It doesn't mean anything, it comes on automatically every couple thousand miles. Here's how to turn it off:
