yes ive searched and searched and found various answers. so im confused.

is the F20B 200 hp manual version redline: 8200rpm?


ive seen some sites say, 7200rpm, 7400rpm, 7600rpm, 8000rpm and people have said they redline theirs safely at 8200rpm stock


which is it...

really..i read that 7400rpm is just the redline on the cluster of the SiR-T accord.

but

what about the ones claiming you can redline at 8200 safely stock motor if you just get the ecu tuned? is this true.

What other red line is there? There is no other imaginary red line on these cars. Unless you are talking about a computer based rev limiter or speed limiter. If you are then that all depends on the ECU you are using not the engine itself.

Take a look at the dyno graphs of stock F20B engines. Not much use revving it out to 8200 if you ask me. However, if the engine is in good condition I'm sure it can handle 8200......

Why does everyone always have this need to rev an engine beyond it's power range?

ok thanks. just wondering, i want to be sure. cause ya why rev so high if motor stops making power at 7400rpm. just sent my ecu in to phearable.net
