K= expensive for swap, mounts, and you have to cut and weld.
B= $600-$4.5k depending on what motor. good for power etc. depending on ur goal
D= cheap everything, lighter, all ur budget check FAQ's

K mega money at leased 5k to 10k depending on Wat u goin to do, get a cheap k20a3 non LSD 5 spd and keep it stock with eBay mounts or go for dc5 type r 6 spd LSD with all hybrid racing parts (mounts, axles, shifter, etc.)
k looks way cooler for a swap but $$$$$$$$

B series is a good series parts are everywhere go on Craig's and see for your self here in my local craigs there like 4 b16 and like 8 ls and only 1 gsr all complete motors with tranny for less then 1350 under (the gsr is 1350)u can built a fast car with bout 2k to 5k u don't need to cut or custom mounts u can du a b swap in ur front yard (not sayn u should lol) but one bad thing (example Honda meet in e town this year) in my percentage at leased 60% of all the ef,eg,ek had a b swaps. It's everywhere

D series is a budget series lol u can build a fast as* boosted single cam with about 2000 but u will always get more out of a twin cam

But there are also j,f, and h series if u want unique J series is the way (imo) the only bad thing is finding the LSD 6 spd tranny

That's. Y I'm doin a three way lol
H22a engine
B18c ITR tranny
K20 rbc IM

I have searched. I was asking for opinions and experiences. I've only driven kseries before I got the eg. you didnt have to comment if you were going to be a dick.

Are you kidding me? You do not have to cut and weld with a K swap into an eg. They have mounts for that now.

-K series average is usually 7-10k
-B series average about 2.5-5k

Don't do single cam. K series is always worth it. There is just so much potential that K series have now that it is always the best option if you can afford it.

FYI...a k-series engine can be put in a car for around 3 grand.

If anyone has an objection to that, Honda tuning did an ariticle on it.

^I saw the same article and it was with a k24 from an element, crv, or accord and a 5speed trans....weaksauce

true you can do it for 3k if you can actually find the parts at the junkyard like they did. But expect to pay more if you want a quick k

j30a1 is the Accord engine but you could do even better with the j32a1 and j32a2 from the Acura CL, and TL.

My assumption was that the Acura's had more power because the engines were larger but after looking back only the Type S has more power and displacement than the Accord. I'm not sure what the difference between Type S and the non are though.
