vaccuum explanation
Does anyone know what this vaccuum does? The red arrows point out what I'm talking about. Notice the valve cover going to the "T" fitting.

the big hose is for crankcase ventilation. it connects to the intake arm.
the smaller hose on the intake manifold is for the idle air thermal valve, or whatever it's called. basically it helps the car warm up quicker from a cold start. once warm the the valve inside closes. but, i broke mine a long time ago and capped the port on the manifold and removed the valve and plugged that with a bolt. i've noticed no noticeable increase in warm up times.
