Default Need help with pricing!

I don't know if its just me being extremely remedial or something, but I've tried using the search function and google and still can't really find want I'm looking for -.- please don't give me sh*t for it lol just looking for some friendly advice but anyways thinking about selling my H22A1 with about 125XXX miles, comes with everything you need (tranny, ecu, wire harness). The thing is I honestly don't know how much it's worth and I don't wann be trying to rip people off or myself. So I was wondering if the intelligent forum goers on HT can help a nub out..

Thanks in advance!

About $900-$1500 or whatever the interested parties are willing to pay for it.

Its hard to put a single price on used motors when there is no documentation to prove its reliable, because the customers are having to take your word for it, and they don't know you.

And even if you have proper documentation, its still a negotiation game.

The prices I posted above are fair market value.

I ain't gonna lie to anybody and say its "the best used h22" you can buy, imma be straight up with them and tell them it's been beatin on.. But taken car of at the same time. But like you said it's really then trusting what I say or not.
Thanks for the very helpful information though! Much Appreciated!

used h22 $500-800
harness $100-150
ecu $50-100
tranny $200-400 depending on which one you have and condition

general prices for what you have, more or less depending on condition.

motor:
documentation on when the timing belt was done would be a plus
aftermarket parts inside would be a plus, like cams and adjustable gears, or aftermarket valvetrain, balance shaft delete, manual tensioner conversion
if the webbing has been ground down for H2b, you might get less from a prelude/accord guy, more from a civic guy looking to go H2b
if you can still do a compression check, get the numbers, 180+ psi on all cylinders and all cylinders within 10% is a plus

harness:
spliced wires in the harness that aren't properly done, and you won't get much for it at all, most people don't want to deal with other people's wiring headaches

tranny:
LSD is a plus
VTEC tranny is a plus because of shorter gears
grinds or pop outs, drop the price
