Evening everyone, this question has probably been asked time and time again but... I've just picked up my 4th gen 1995 prelude 2.2 none vtec jap import, and have heard that some models have an lsd dif/gearbox, my gear box number is m2j5-4000112, if anyone knows the answer I'd be very appreciated of it, also, I have been told that the f22b? none vtec can take a vtec head? Have I been told correctly?

 

Only the 2.2 vtec model would have had an lsd tranny, and that code is M2B4.

As for the engine idea, if you read through the FAQs there are many great resources on what is possible with different blocks and heads.

 

Ah cheers for that on the gear boxes I'm quite tempted to get gold of an lsd box, and ill check through the forums to find out what's possible with a vtec head on the f22b bottom end, it's a hap import motor to the uk, it's also still limited to 112/115? Kind of good in a way ad it means it probably hasn't been driven to hard
