Icon2 91 ef2 JDM D16A CEL wont go away

ok so i have a 91 ef2 and i droped a jdm D16A vtec motor from a 92-95 eg si it also came with p08 ecu and not the p28 ecu because the po8 only looks for one 1 wire o2 sensor and not a four wire o2 sensor (so i was told) so i bough the mil-spec harness form rywire to convert it to OBD1 so i could run the motor.. the harness i got im guessing is for a wire tuck and the o2 sensor wire was really f**king long... so everything was going grate drove it for like 2 months just fine and all of the sudden the wire got warped around the cv joint because the wire fell between the firewall and motor and tore it to sh*t luckily it wasn't that bad so i checked the harness and made sure that there was current going threw to the ecu with a multimeter and there was but the check engine light kept coming on after i reconnected the o2 sensor and it dosent come on right away... it comes on once the car is warm and u drive for about 15 min then the check engine light comes on... so i have tried everything to fix it i bought a new o2 sensor because the wire was coming out of it... i even called rywire and they said to bypas the harness and run a wire from the o2 sensor straight to the ecu and did that and the damn CEl still comes on.. so my question is could i have grounded out the wire and skrewd up the ecu so no matter what i do the check engine light is going to come on because its fried? has anyone ever dealt with something like this please help.. before i go buy another p08 ecu

next time try using punctuation and sentences. It's hard to respond when it's hard to understand what you are saying.

You don't have a spare ecu to try? That would be my first step.

Space different points about the problem out a bit.

Like this.

So we can clearly analyze the situation step by step.

1st question, why are you running a B16A on a D15b ecu? Sure it runs but why?

2nd. Did you verify cel is for o2 sensor and not another part of the harness to another sensor?

x2 have you checked to see what DTC are being stored? If so what code(s) are you getting exactly?

Worst case scenario, re wire the o2 from the ecu to the plug and make sure wires aren't pulled out of the o2 sensor itself.

Re-ran all 4 wires to the ecu from the o2? Correctly for sure? Any other part of the harness damaged?
