ed7/b18a1 swap - cranks but won't start
I got a ed7 with a b18a1. The guy didn't know what he was doin. He grounded the chassis to the chassis a.k.a. they went no where. Anyways, I'm going through and tring to put it all back together right. The problem is it don't start but it cranks over. The fuel pump has signal, has spark but I'm not sure if its getting fuel to the cylinder. Took the plugs out and it doesn't seem to have any fuel on em at all (seems very clean and dry). I've checked the ecu fuse, its good. Check all fuses and the relay inder the dash. Check engine light comes on then turns off like normal. I tryed to check for engine code by jumping the 2 spots but it doesn't blink or anything. I was wondering, could the ecu not be turing on? I can't get the l.e.d light on the pr4 to turn on. How can I check the ecu? where does the ecu get its signal to turn on at? I believe it would be the ignition but I'm no pro at this. The car, motor and ecu are obd0. If there is anything else I need to check, let me know. I'm still purty new to swaps myself.
Also a green wire on the cars harness (supose to go to the ecu) I believe its the "load detector" or something like that, would that have something to do with it? Are there supose to be any wires and the 3 plugs not hooked up?

-it honestly didn't seem to bright. You could see just alittle electrical line. The dude cut all the wires and the re attached a new plug (did solder, just twist and tape (he is a f***** idiot)) so ill check it again tomorrow.
-didn't think of starting fluid, thanks
Remove the fuel cap and place your ear to the fill hole while a buddy turns the key from off to ON(II). The fuel pump should make a buzzing or humming noise for 2 seconds.
Spark should be bright white. Yellow, orange, or deep blue spark is weak.

From my experience i had the same problem not too long ago.
Since it getting spark make sure its bright white/ like what RonJ said..
check and see if your main relay clicks twice. try and see if you can borrow someones relay and test it
Get yourself a fuel pressure guage if you dont got you can just disonnect the fuel line from your fuel filter and see if fuel is coming if it is.then your getting fuel.

I have weak spark for sure. Like I said before, he cut all the wire and then just twisted them back together. Also when he did it, the firing order was bass ackwards. I have a obd1 ecu and jumper harness so I think I'm just gonna go get a new obd1 distibutor.
